There was a story regarding analysis the bubble size in the soft drink. The panelists started to evaluate the bubble size by eyes not the perception in the mouth since they can observe the bubble sizes among the samples by just looking at them. Well, this is not what the study for. The study would like to know the feeling of bubble size in the mouth. What can you do then? If you have the lighting control system in your booth, then you can use red light to interfere the panelist as they just evaluate the sample by looking at it. If you do not have the lighting control system, you may choose to have the utensil that will not allow the panelist can observe the bubbles inside. For example, to paint the glass black while the panelist will see everything is black in the glass. They were forced to evaluate the bubble size in the mouth.
